On our website, we publish competition and championship results in order to promote the competitors, as well as the professionalism and efficiency of the club. We respect the privacy of our members and handle their personal data responsibly, carefully, and in accordance with the regulations and legislation in force in the Republic of Slovenia.

We process customers’ personal data solely within the scope and for the purpose of carrying out karate training. Based on membership in the Fudokan Academy of Slovenia, personal data is also processed to the necessary extent for collecting membership fees, keeping records of exams passed by individuals, monitoring attendance at training sessions, processing entry fees for competitions and seminars, and issuing awards. The website karate-as.si uses cookies to ensure better functionality and user experience, as well as to count users on the website. We use Google Analytics cookies issued by Google Inc. The information is stored in your browser’s cookies and serves to recognize your choices and anonymously count which web content you found interesting and viewed. We use the Google Analytics tool to collect anonymous information about the number of visitors and pages visited.

We use personal data solely to the extent and for the purpose strictly necessary for the smooth execution of karate training, agreed registrations for competitions and seminars, the registration of competitors with the Fudokan Karate Federation of Slovenia, and the execution of statutory work processes. Some organizations or clubs to which, as our data processors, we may disclose your personal data when registering for a competition or seminar, are based outside the European Union, in countries that may not have laws protecting the right to personal data protection in the same way as in the European Union or Slovenia. In these cases, we will alert you, as it is difficult for us as a club to provide appropriate safeguards, although we reasonably expect such organizations to handle personal data responsibly.
